Notes:
George West is the “Storytelling Capital of Texas according to the Texas Legislature but the only story the Longhorns care about is the story of another district championship. The class of the relatively weak District 15-2A, George West should have little trouble repeating as champions despite only returning six starters. It remains to be seen whether their regular season schedule will prepare them for the step up in talent of their playoff opponents, but they should end the season with no more than 3 or 4 losses.

Coaching Changes — San Antonio Cole
May 15, 2010
San Antonio Cole has named Tim Duncan as their new Head Coach. He will replace Larry Ransom who has led the Cougars for the last sixteen years.
Ransom had an overall record of 73-82 during his time at Cole. They are on a streak of five consecutive non-losing seasons but their record during that time is only 30-21.
Duncan comes over after having been assistant at Fort Worth Brewer for the past four years. Before that he also was the head coach at Smyer for five seasons.
Cole will be a member of District 15-2A Division I along with Cotulla, George West, Jourdanton, Natalia and Universal City Randolph. The most wins in a season by the Cougars over the last 22 years is only 7 games.
