  • Mike Says: The Mavericks lost in a week 0 LSG Game Of The Week against Cibolo Steele but they are still a very good team. They feature a strong running game led by Marquis Warford (383 yards 7 TDs) and Galen McAllister (277 yards 3 TDs). The Rangers come in undefeated after playing a very unique schedule with a game against a school from Laredo and then another from El Paso. They also have a strong running game with Lawrence Mattison (395 yards 7 TDs) leading the way. It looks like whoever can stop the run will win. The Rangers have only given up 314 yards rushing in 3 games on 92 carries which is an 3.41 yard average. The Mavericks gave up a whopping 359 yards rushing to Steele but have limited their last 2 opponents to 179 yards on 53 carries. The RANGERS win it 28-27!!
  • Chris Says: I have a hard time picking San Antonio Madison to lose another game so early in the season, but like their matchup against Cibolo Steele, this game against Smithson Valley is going to be a very tough one.  I don't expect Smithson Valley to put up the kind of numbers they have been, but they should put up enough to get the win.   The RANGERS should take this one 21-18!!!
