Chris Doelle was in Houston for the 39th annual Lombardi Awards at which Brian Orakpo from the University of Texas took home this year’s award. In addition to an amazing career at UT, Brian played his high school ball right there at Houston Lamar high school.

The Refugio Bobcats took on the Tidehaven Tigers in the Bi-District playoffs, and Lone Star Gridiron was there. The Tigers gave Refugio all they could handle early in this contest, but the Bobcats were able to get a 28-25 victory.
