2011 Coaching Change: Mount Vernon Tigers
Old Head Coach: Karl Whitehurst -- Leaving after taking over last July. He led the Tigers to a 2-8 record last season.
New Head Coach: Mike Alexander -- Was the Assistanat head coach at 5A Rockwall.
Team News: The Tigers have had 6 consecutive non-winning seasons (3 .500 seasons). They are also 1-14 in district play over last 3 seasons.
